This website, margaretmackenziebooks.com, is operated by Astris Publishing LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17437455, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Astris Publishing LTD, and “the site” means margaretmackenziebooks.com.
2. Using the site
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
The site is intended for adults. The books promoted here contain adult content.
3. Our content
Everything on this site, including the writing, the artwork, the logo, the name Margaret MacKenzie, cover designs, and any sample chapters or bonus stories we send you, belongs to Astris Publishing LTD or is used with permission.
You may read it, quote short passages with credit and a link back, and share links to any page.
You may not:
- reproduce or republish the content, in whole or in part, for anything other than your own private reading
- sell, license or redistribute any text or artwork from the site, or any story sent to subscribers
- remove or alter any copyright notice or attribution
- scrape, harvest or systematically copy the site by automated means
- use any of it to train, fine tune or evaluate a machine learning or artificial intelligence model
If you want to use something and you are not sure whether these terms allow it, write and ask. We are usually happy to say yes.
4. The newsletter
Subscribing is voluntary and you can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Anything we send subscribers, including free chapters, prequels and bonus stories, is for your personal reading only. It is not to be shared, posted or distributed, and we do not give permission for it to be uploaded anywhere.
We may change what the newsletter contains, how often it goes out, or stop sending it altogether.
5. Links to other places
The site links to other websites, including retailers such as Amazon, and to social media platforms. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their terms, or how they handle your data. When you follow a link, their rules apply, not ours.
6. Availability and accuracy
We try to keep the site running and the information on it correct, particularly release dates and availability. We cannot promise either. Publication dates move, retailers change listings, and the site may be unavailable while we work on it or for reasons outside our control.
The content of the site is provided for general information. It is not advice, and nothing on it forms a contract to publish anything by a particular date.
7. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not remove any protection you have under the law of your own country.

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
